I don’t know if I would say flat out crack pipe. It looks really, really well done. What has me nervous is that the guy only prepped it this winter, went all out, and is now selling.

I’d jump on it but no front windows means no deal for me.
Salvage title wouldn’t be too bad if you were just gonna trailer this thing to the track and back. But that price is loco.

But at the end of the day, it’s still a salvage-titled E36 M3 with some bolt-on go fast bits and a cage.

I didn’t read the ad that carefully, but it looks like a considerable amount of work was done to it. It may just be a salvage title M3 with some bolt-ons, but it also appears that the hardest parts of the process of making a legit racecar out of it have already been done.
I’d say the price seems high, but not necessarily outrageously high for a track prepared M3.

I too would argue the straight CP nature of it’s price. It looks to be a well sorted car. The only issue I see is that it has a salvage title and doesn’t appear to be road registered/registerable. That could be quite the hassle for someone wanting to drive to the track, or perhaps even just driving on public roads near a track.

I really hate the fact that the front windows are removed from the most track (and race) cars in the US. Cars go faster with the windows! Here you couldn’t even participate in most track days or races without the windows (as they need to be shut but maybe a net could be used instead).
